A stylish period cottage in an elevated position in Penmaenmawr, with stunning coastal views towards Puffin Island and Anglesey. Perfect to explore North Wales coast and Snowdonia National Park.

Penmaenmawr coastal town lies on the North Wales coast, between Conwy and Llanfairfechan, offering a pub, shops, museum, sandy beach and even a golf course. From the doorstep join one of the many footpaths and routes to explore the stunning coast and countryside alongside Snowdonia National Park. Activities on offer include water sports, wildlife boat trips, fishing, cycling, mountain biking and walking. Visit World Heritage Site Conwy with its castle, harbour and pretty town or head to vibrant Llandudno with the Mostyn Contemporary Art Gallery, Venue Cymru and the longest pier in Wales. Both offer a superb range of shops and eateries. Nearby attractions include National Trust Penrhyn Castle, Surf Snowdonia and Zip World.

This cosy period cottage, beautifully refurbished in 2018, is full of charm and original features. The front door opens into the hall with a handy bench to take off your boots and hang your coats. Natural light floods the lounge/kitchen/diner with access to the garden. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave to rustle up a bite to eat. The dining table is well positioned to gather round, enjoy a meal and plan your holiday activities. After dinner, relax in the comfy sofas by the wood burner, catch up on your news, read a book or watch a film on the Smart TV. On the first floor you can unwind in a bubble bath or take a refreshing shower in the light and airy bathroom with shower over bath and WC. There are two bedrooms, one double and one king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request), both have been designed for a good nights sleep and offer lovey views from the window to wake up to. This cottage is a real pleasure to holiday in.

The garden has been creatively designed to make the most of the fabulous views towards Conwy Bay, Puffin Island and Anglesey, there is a patio area, perfect for al fresco dining with charcoal BBQ, table and chairs. Walk down the few steps to the courtyard and the rear entrance of the property. You will also find the utility room here with washing machine and lots of space for your wetsuits, climbing gear or for your bicycles and ample space to store a canoe. There is unrestricted roadside parking for two cars at the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great location for walkers, or for summer beach holidays. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was well equipped.

The cottage is in a lovely setting and ideal for exploring N. Wales, however, the cleanliness needs a lot to be desired. There was a 6 hour gap between the previous guests leaving and us arriving and we were assured by Holiday Cottages that their owners and teams had been provided with information and guidance on enhanced cleaning measures during CRead moreovid-19. Definately NOT. Bedroom window sills were dirty, bathroom blind filthy as was toilet brush and handle. Beds were awful and throws stained. Hide

We had the most wonderful stay here! Upon arrival, we were very happy to find the cottage to be spotless, bright, airy and beautiful! The view from the kitchen door was absolutely breathtaking, it was amazing to be so close to the stunning beach! Very spacious, cosy cottage,well equipped.Good sea views from garden ,only a short down hill walk to beach.Lovely woodburner and plenty of hot water. Parking ,however,not ideal.

Lovely cottage with sea views and a good base to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey and the coast. The patio has some amazing sunsets. The rooms are light and airy and the cottage is well equiped. The village is pretty and has some good independent shops.

Werdnas Cottage is a great location on the North Wales coast with easy access to Snowdonia, Conwy, Anglesey and the hills behind the viillage. It has a lovely beach 5 mins walk from the cottage and local shops and pubs. We loved staying there and had amazing weather so we're able to eat outside on the terrace every evening. Immaculately presented cottage ideal for exploring north wales. If however, like us, you have an energetic dog that likes good run this is not the cottage for you. The garden is far from ideal just a couple of small paved areas.

Cottage was excellent,very clean and well equipped and in a lovely location with views across to Puffin Island. Fresh flowers,Welsh cakes and a bottle of milk had been left for our arrival which was very welcoming. Felt very homely and cosy with the log burner...parking was a little hairy but would definitely return.

The cottage was very nice got plenty of space. The log burner did take some lighting a lot more than ours at home which was a bit disappointing but had the central heating to fall back on The walk to the beach and town is not far
