Castleton, set in the heart of the Esk Dale, with shop, tearoom and pubs a short walk from this grade II listed cottage. Why not take the train along the scenic railway line to Whitby and spend a day exploring the alleyways and cobbled streets which offer an eclectic mix of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Slightly further afield is the bustling market town of Pickering with its historic castle, Dalby Forest with miles of cycle tracks to enjoy and the beautiful Castle Howard. Other pretty market towns worth a visit include Helmsley and Malton which both have a variety of shops and local produce, Malton is fondly known as Yorkshire’s food capital and has regular food fayres. Not forgetting the nearby beaches for you to enjoy.
Step through the front door and you will find an inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and a dining table in front of the double doors leading onto the patio.
