Beautiful and very well-equipped house in a lovely quiet location best reached if you are happy driving narrow country roads. Great views, garden is beautiful and the bbq and croquet set are a bonus. Cold floors even in the July heatwave, bring your slippers!

Wonderful cottage, the interior is absolutely stunning. Well equipped kitchen which is always an asset. Beautifully furnished. It is a remote location which was great for us for walking , the drive is a steep incline after long day hiking lol. Both butchers in Crickhowell well worth a visit to stock up for the week.

We are a family of 5 adults. We shared the most wonderful Christmas and New Year at Pen Y Garn. We really appreciated the thought and care Craig and Lorraine have obviously invested in every detail of this beautiful cottage. Tastefully finished to a very high standard. The most stunning location we've ever stayed at in UK with incredible views and total peace and quiet. We were so lucky to have the hottest week of the year! A beautiful property in a picturesque & quite isolated location. The grounds were pretty, although we didn't have the weather to enjoy them. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The lounge had lots of space but felt cosy and would have been lovely with a fire, although we couldn't get it going. Perfect for a complete escape. Beautiful isolated location. Lovely garden and spacious house with good shower. Very long single track road to house, two gates to manoeuvre and extremely steep driveway and stairs, so not for the unfit! We had a great week with family and friends.

A lovely cottage in a lovely remote location - lots of walks from the house and streams for children to play in. The stone floor was chilly even in summer so you may want to pack your slippers - although the fire (wood was provided ) kept us cosy! We ate at the red lion down the road which was good value pub grub.
