We have had an amazing holiday. We were a party of two adults, two teen girls and a little cockapoo. Woodgreen is a lovely village, and we ate a few times at the local pub who made us very welcome . A beautifully restored chapel, can't fault it. The only thing I would say is that you have to be a very close family or friends as it is open plan and the bedrooms are open other than screens you put up, so you can hear all conversations etc. The pub is literally a pleasant 2/3 mins walk depending on how fast you walk and it is excellent for drinksRead more and food, typical country pub with a fantastic garden. You will have daily visits from the New Forest ponies which is lovely but do be careful. Hide

Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the New Forest which is far quieter than the southern area. The Old Chapel had everything we would have wanted for our stay, and more with some lovely touches from the owner. There is a super village shop and pub a couple of minutes walk away. We hope to stay again!
