The immediate area is a perfect place for walkers, hikers and mountain bikers to explore this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close to the historic picturesque town of Biggar, with an array of fascinating museums, Victorian puppet theatre, quirky shops, friendly inns and quality eateries to enjoy. The cottage is also ideally placed to visit the border towns including Peebles and Moffat. With the wonderful cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh also within easy reach, with their fantastic leisure and shopping facilities.

Entering the charming period cottage through the hall, into the light and bright lounge with TV/DVD and wood burner, perfect for relaxing in the evenings after a day out exploring the local area. Next door, you will find the lovely double bedroom, enjoying front garden views. Leading back through the hallway into the spacious dining room with TV/DVD, dining table, perfect for family gatherings and French doors leading out to the patio and rear garden. Followed by the bathroom, with a shower over the bath and WC. Next you are met with the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, with rear door access to the garden through the handy boot room, a perfect place to store outdoor clothing. Heading up the stairs to the landing, you will find two lovely stylish, spacious double bedrooms and single bedroom, all with fantastic rolling hill and countryside views. Finally, the games room with Xbox, Playstation with a selection of games, TV/DVD and a selection of board games and DVDs.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is ideal. Situated about 10 minutes from the motorway, along a country road, it was fantastic for our needs. The home had everything you need and the welcome pack that was supplied was ideal. Pam and Danny were always on call if we needed any assistance and they were first class in their service. TRead morehe gardens were fenced off so we knew the dogs would be safe too. Would definitely love to return in the near future 5* property. Hide

So clean you would never know dogs are allowed here. Fantastically equipped, stunning location (so easy to get to from the motorway) so many walks to do with maps & details at the property so no advanced research required. Love the fact its enclosed, the welcome hamper of essentials an appreciated touch. The best holiday home we have ever rented, sRead moreo peaceful and so comfortable.
