Enjoy an array of water sports including windsurfing, canoeing and sailing in the towns large shallow bay. Within easy reach of the historic town of Arbroath, famed for the Arbroath Smokie, with its splendid abbey, historic harbour, long sandy beaches and stunning sandstone cliffs. The vibrant city of Dundee is close at hand, with its excellent shopping and leisure facilities. The immediate area is perfect for walking, cycling, mountain biking and hiking with wonderful coastal paths, woodland walks, country trails and the magnificent Angus Glens, all within easy reach.

Entering the charming, luxurious, single-storey detached lodge from the garden, step into the light, bright and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The comfortable lounge area with wood burner, idea for cosy nights in, is also the perfect place to relax and enjoy your favourite TV program or perhaps watch a movie. The bespoke kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and instant boiling water from the tap, so no need to wait for the kettle to boil. Enjoy a meal in the lovely dining area, taking in the splendid views over the front garden. Next you are met with the beautiful, spacious master double bedroom with TV, and wonderful views over the garden and surrounding countryside from the delightful window seat. Completing the accommodation is the stylish shower room with rain shower and WC.

Venturing outside, you will find the fully enclosed front garden with seating area. Ideal for al fresco dining and to enjoy the views over the beautiful countryside, perhaps with a good local ale or a nice glass of wine. There is also an abundance of wildlife and birds that visits the garden. There is ample off-road parking directly in front of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A delightful, comfortable cottage close to the coast. Well appointed, with an extensive range of modern fittings, including induction hobs and high-pressure shower. Well insulated, heated up quickly with just the wood burner fire.

The lodge is in a perfect location for getting away from it all! The owners have ensured all your home comforts have been met. The late arrival meant we got to the lodge in the dark but found the warm welcome of heating, lights and a vase of flowers and great way to start our break. Provision for the dog was over and above expectation with all his Read moreneeds being provided for. The owners were always available if we needed them although they left us to it! We booked a mon-Friday break in this cottage to explore the area Carnoustie,Arbroath and found it ideal. Very clean and very well equipped just bring yourself.great welcome pack for family and dogs. A well appointed holiday home, one of the best we've been in. Trouble is there's not a lot to see within a reasonable driving distance. Fantastic cottage in a great location, close to beaches and woods for walking dogs. Owners are very accommodating. With lots of wildlife on your doorstep we would definitely like to return.

This was just what we needed. Nice, quiet but with easy access to major roads. The owners are easy to contact if needed but not intrusive if that is what you like. It was clean with a fabulous shower and lovely little kitchen. Some lovely treats for both you and your dog(s). We have 2 little dogs and they did not escape the garden and one did try.
