Bude, just 20 minutes away includes sandy beaches perfect for surfing, shops, pubs, restaurants, Splashpool and historical canal.
Featuring Cornish stonework and exposed beams, this character property has lots of original charm but also many comfortable features and furnishings. On the ground floor of this property guests will find a spacious open-plan lounge/diner, featuring a Smart TV and DVD and a dining table. The kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and use of a tumble dryer. If you want to take a break from cooking a meal, however, home-cooked meals prepared by a chef can be booked in advance. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: one king-size and one single and a large bunk-bed, as well as a bathroom with shower and WC. A babysitting service is also available, making this property very child-friendly. Supermarket shopping can be delivered to your cottage door. Beauty treatments including reflexology and massages are also available at an extra cost.
Outside of the property, guests can enjoy relaxing on the seating on the large patio area and shared garden. There is also a BBQ provided so that al-fresco meals can be prepared. Guests are also welcome to meet the friendly farm animals who live on site, including pigs, calves, alpacas and chickens, during lambing season (Easter-June) you can even have a go at bottle-feeding the cute lambs. Other outdoor activities that can be enjoyed on the farm include pony rides, walks along the farm trails, swings, sandpits, coarse fishing and games of tennis on the full-sized court.
