Cosy two-bedroom cottage, part of a barn conversion situated within the Yorkshire Dales offering far-reaching countryside views, idyllic walks or a peaceful countryside retreat.

Located close to the beautiful village of Dent and the picturesque village of Sedbergh, and located within the Yorkshire Dales close to Whernside, one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. This cottage is ideally positioned to explore all the wonders this area has to offer, there is walking or cycling around the Dales from your doorstep, making it a perfect destination for all walking abilities, or just take in the views from your car. Stunning views of the Dales are on offer from both the bedroom windows and large doorway entrance. A short drive away and you enter the majestic Lake District with a variety of towns, villages, restaurants, cafes to explore or take in the wonders of the mountain ranges.

Enter the cottage via the large wooden doorway, to your right you will find the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and the dining area has a table with seating for four. To your left you have the cosy lounge with Sky TV making this a lovely area to relax in after of a day exploring the area. Leading off from the lounge is the ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC. The bedroom offers a full-length window which adds plenty of light and not to mention a wonderful view. From the corner of the kitchen/dining area a metal spiral staircase, which adds further character to the room, leads up to the first floor. On reaching the top of the stairs you will find a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and WC. The bedroom has a full-length window offering unspoilt views of the Dales.

Heading outside there is a patio area with table and chairs, perfect for warm summer days and evenings, here you can truly appreciate the stunning views on offer. There is bike storage available and off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Thank you to the hosts for the most wonderful stay. A beautiful cosy traditional cottage, in the most stunning location. I loved everything in the cottage, very thoughtfully laid out and the views from the bedrooms were just spectacular. Our hosts were warm and friendly. Thank you for having us.

Wonderful setting, well equipped cottage, lovely owners but we picked the wrong week for the weather. Still enjoyed the holiday.

The cottage was very homely and welcoming after a long drive up from Norfolk. A welcome pack with home made cake, scones and wine was a lovely surprised and was soon made use of. One of the best things about the cottage was the peace and quiet and views to die for. These memories will be with us forever.
