Dating back to the mid 1700’s, this impressive barn is ideally located on the edge of a pretty market town in North Norfolk and provides an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful part of the county. With the Norfolk coastline easily accessible, why not explore some of the many quaint seaside villages with picturesque scenery, breath-taking landscapes and traditional family fun. The Broads with miles of magical waterways is a memorable experience especially when viewed from the water by day boat. No stay in the area is complete without a visit to the fine city of Norwich with its Norman castle and impressive cathedral and offering a variety of attractions to appeal to all ages and tastes.
Upon arrival, this stunning barn will immediately impress with its magnificent lounge with feature window through to the dining area allowing light to flood the room. The vaulted ceiling and spacious nature of the lounge creates a wonderful atmosphere in which to relax on the comfortable sofas, perhaps have a game of table football, watch the TV/DVD, or simply enjoy spending time with loved ones. The wood burner helps keep the chill off even the coolest nights and adds to the charm of this traditional Norfolk Barn. Moving through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, guests will find everything required to cook and dine in style, equipped with an electric range cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, combination microwave and handy dishwasher while a separate utility room contains a washing machine. The rustic style dining table with views both into the lounge and out to the rear garden offers a fine place to enjoy a meal. There are four bedrooms on the ground floor, the first being a twin with wood burner, and seating which can double as a handy place for children to watch TV, the second being a double, and the third is a further double with en-suite shower room with massaging jets to really invigorate after a day exploring and WC, and lastly a second twin bedroom. Finishing the ground floor accommodation is an entrance porch with seating and a separate shower room with WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor, guests will find the barns fifth bedroom, a king-size with lovely views over fields and farmland and a stylish bathroom benefiting from the same view, with shower, roll top bath and WC.
While the barn internally is spoilt for choice when it comes to space for relaxation and entertainment, the outside is just as impressive. Guests are able to enjoy relaxing in the hot tub or perhaps a spot of al fresco dining on the garden furniture with fire pit and large charcoal BBQ. Children and pets can play safely in the enclosed rear garden and the little courtyard area with outdoor dining table and bench, a great place to grab a quiet morning coffee or to spend a little time in the company of a good book, as is the former greenhouse which has been cleverly adapted to provide a seating area with lighting so that guests are able to gaze out and watch for wild birds in the garden. There is off-road parking for four cars adjacent to the barn.
