We used the cottage as a base to visit relatives but also to visit the surrounding area with our dog so it was ideally located for us. The immediate area within the farm was absolutely brilliant for walking the dog straight out of the door. The owners were very nice and were available on site should we have any issues but other than that, they keptRead more out of the way and allowed us to get on with our holiday as if the property was our own. A perfect cottage for people with dogs with lots of walks around the farm. The owners (animal lovers with horses, dogs and pet sheep) are helpful and caring without being obtrusive. What an amazing peaceful break away! No need to worry about anything as Jane is very helpful and great with recommendations. The barn is so cosy like a home from home. Lots of walking to do with dogs. Jack and barley are super friendly too (hosts dogs) and like to play and come walking with you. We loved every minute and hope to be back next year!

Relatively new to the rental scene, this cottage was missing one or two things but the owners very quickly and obligingly found what was needed - a plug, coffee maker, nothing too dramatic. A very handy 'starter pack' was provided. A really nice spacious cottage with horse stables, and paddocks to walk around. The central heating worked well - (ourRead more stay co-incided with a particularly cool and wet week) Hide
