We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and made good use of the hot tub even in the cold weather, had no issues and would 100% consider coming back to stay with again, the dog had a fab time too the large grass area at the front was perfect for him to play on his long lead.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kestrel Lodge. The property is comfortable and clean with a great hot tub and fantastic views over the hills. The Prosecco, biscuits and sweets on arrival were a lovely touch. We visited Kelso, Jedburgh, Berwick, Holy Island and Edinburgh and sim to return next year. The only downside, for our kids at least, was the slRead moreow and occasionally intermittent broadband. Hide

The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, we were lucky that the other lodge was empty while we were there so we had exclusive use of a large garden. The lodge is very well equipped and comfortable to live in. The owners live in the bungalow beside the lodge, however, we never saw them at all (arrival or departure) it did state in the informatioRead moren booklet that if you have any problems you can contact them. Lovely lodge in a perfect location, close to everything but away from it all. Hardly heard a car all week! Mahri couldn't do enough for us and we loved having Rio (the dog) come in and play with Orlo. Some lovely walks right from the door and Kelso is a lovely little town. Hot tub was brilliant and Mahri came and checked/cleaned it every day. Had eRead moreverything we needed and it was a lovely, relaxing stay. We will be back! Hide
