This cottage was in a really beautiful and quiet location, we really enjoyed our stay here! Knighton town was only a couple of miles down the road for shopping. The Elan Valley is around 40 minutes away and well worth a visit!

Lovely cottage in truly beautiful countryside. Rolling green hills, patch-work valleys and sheep-covered moors. Gorgeous. The Elan Valley dams are definitely worth a visit (very close by) as is Aberystwyth if you have time to drive it (couple of hours each way). Also worth visiting Hampton Court Castle - beautiful gardens and an interesting insightRead more into what Americans imagine an English castle looks like inside! A lovely country retreat with enough to see for a week. Hide

The cottage was beautiful and in a charming location. The cottage had everything we wanted and was spacious and comfortable. We found a lot to do during our stay and would have liked to have stopped longer to explore further. There are not many shops nearby but once you are aware of that you can prepare for it.
