This is a cosy cottage in Beadnell which offers comfortable accommodation for families and groups who want to enjoy a seaside holiday within easy reach of Beadnell Bay.

Situated in Beadnell, this cottage is perfect for visitors keen to explore the wonderful coastal landscape which surrounds the village. Beadnell itself is home to pubs, restaurants, a patisserie, and a small general store, and the nearby village of Seahouses is just a short drive or walk along the Northumberland Coastal Path. The property is also ideal for guests keen to explore the Farne Islands or the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, both of which are accessible via boat and are home to many amazing species of wildlife. By car, the Castle and town of Bamburgh are easily reached, as are the Craster harbour village and Low Newton-by-the-Sea.

The property itself is tastefully decorated throughout and equipped with all the facilities of home. On entering the grounfloor you will encounter the lounge/dining room, a kitchen, the property’s third bedroom and a small en-suite WC. The lounge’s comfortable seating centres around a TV and DVD. There is also a dining table with seating space for six guests. The fully-equipped kitchen includes an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, and a washing machine. The small bedroom on the ground floor includes children’s bunk beds and also provides access to a ground floor WC. Upstairs, guests will find two bedrooms, one king-size and a twin. There is also an upstairs bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside the property, there is a small enclosed garden at the front of the cottage, perfect for giving dogs a little fresh air. This property also includes allocated parking space for one car at the front.

Good points: excellent location. Very well equipped kitchen. Smart TV. Good WiFi. Good ( if somewhat jaded) living room area. Poor points: Kitchen blind was broken. Not really suitable for older people as bath/shower is slippery with no safety handles. Also,the small size of the double bedroom. Impossible to get out of very low, uncomfortable bed wRead moreithout banging head on sloping ceiling on one side or pushing pictures off wall on the other. Cottage in a very peaceful part of Beadnell within easy reach of the beach and Seahouses. The cottage could do with a fresh coat of paint but adequately stocked with crockery, pots and pans etc. There is only one village shop with quite a variety of food, raher expensive. Great place to stay.Good walking,great bus service,good local pub with excellent food in the pub and Towers Hotel.We will be visiting next year.

Ideal location for exploring the area. The cottage has pretty much everything needed for a week long stay: comfy sofas, plenty of kitchen equipment, nice little dog safe garden. There were 3 of us and there was plenty of room (might be a bit squashed for 6). Would definitely recommend the cottage. Great location, would suggest this is not suitable for 6 guests and is really a 2 adults and 2 children cottage. If you are booking for 6 birth be aware the bunk beds are not suitable. The cottage needs a refresh and is looking tired. Not helped by the level of cleanliness left by the cleaning agency which was not up to standard. Quaint property in good location close to Craster Arms. Good base for family holiday on the Northumberland coast. Very useful to have washing machine/tumble dryer in the property.

Everything you need in this cottage. Its a great base for traveling around the area. I nice little bit of garden to sit and have your morning coffee on a sunny day. Just yards from 2 pubs and a Bristo. Nice quiet area

Had a late start because cottage had not been cleaned from last tenants. They kindly sent us for a meal and picked up the tab. This spoilt the first evening not being able to rest and freshen up after a long hot journey. Cottage was pleasant. Lack of storage in twin bedroom. Beds not really suitable for adults. Too soft. Smugglers cove is a superb location but cottage now tired. We stayed in it August 2020 and again in August 2021. Other cottages in smugglers cove have been refurbished since and it has not. It needs a full refresh. Paint, floors etc We go to Beadnell a couple of times a year and love it but will not stay here again. Lovely cottage in an ideal location, would benefit from a few minor upgrades. Nice pub with restaurant 2 mins away plus a coffee shop, bus stop outside the pub, very easy to get around the area. Nice walk into Seahouses and Bamburgh.

Smuggler's Cove is in a perfect location - only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the seafront at Beadnall. It's also right next to the Craster Arms which serves brilliant burgers. The cottage is immaculate - incredibly clean, modern, and light. It was exactly what I needed, and a great base from which to explore locations like Seahouses, BRead moreamburgh, and the Holy Island. Great little cottage in a lovely village only a short walk from the beach. 2 nice local pubs & cafe within the a min walk. Plenty of parking and loads of other great places to visit wuthin a short drive. The property is well appointed and the welcome pack on arrival very useful.
