Just a short stroll from the heart of the seaside village of Seahouses, this delightful cottage is a wonderful base for exploring the beautiful coastline and countryside of Northumberland.

This delightful cottage is located near the centre of the picturesque village of Seahouses, close to the bustling harbour, glorious sandy beach and scenic golf course. The cottage is ideal for a family or group of friends who enjoy visiting the seaside, seeing the sights and local attractions, as well as diving, surfing, cycling or walking. Within easy reach along the coastal path is the lovely village of Bamburgh. With a fascinating historic castle, this wonderful village offers a wide range of excellent restaurants and independent shops. To the south lies beautiful Beadnell Bay with its stunning, golden beach, best known as the base for a variety of water sporting activities. Lindisfarne and Alnwick are also both within easy reach.

On entering this warm, welcoming and spacious property you will find yourself in the cosy and inviting lounge. With a choice of comfortable seating, there is also a Smart TV, DVD, iPod dock for your entertainment and an open fire. This is a lovely room to sit back and relax in after your days out and about exploring this wonderful area. Moving into the attractive kitchen/diner, you will find a delightful dining area with table and chairs and the stylish kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, filter coffee machine, cafetiere, dishwasher, washing machine, under counter fridge and a small bench top freezer. There is a door leading to the rear garden from here too. Going upstairs to the first floor you will find three comfortable bedrooms. There’s a master bedroom with king-size bed and Smart TV, a twin room with zip locking mattresses to make a double with TV and a single bedroom. There’s also a bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Stepping outside, you will find the front garden is landscaped with blue slate and there is a Jack and Jill seat for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The enclosed, rear garden is attractively presented and private, with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ. There is a gate to the garage and driveway from this garden. The garage is ideal for storing bikes, walking gear and other equipment and for drying off wet suits and diving gear. There is ample room to park up to 3 cars: two on the driveway and one in front of the cottage.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Cottage In excellent location, with added bonus of parking. Heating was on a lovely welcome as we arrived on a cold, damp day. Lovely welcome pack for us and our dog, enjoyed the coal fire in the evening, bed really comfy. A lovely stay, beautiful beaches our lurcher had a fab time

I thought that the cottage was in a great location and very quiet. It was good to have a drive and also the little enclosed back garden came in very handy for our dogs. A very comfy bed was brilliant.

We arrived to a brilliant sunny day on the Saturday and left to the same sunny day a week later! The house is very clean with everything we needed! Its in a great location for good walks along the beach/take away's/supermarkets/pubs and everything we wanted! The surrounding area N&S along the coast is breathtaking! This is a really lovely cottage in a great place to stay. There was everything we needed and more. The property was clean throughout and we arrived to find a much needed welcome pack. There was only two of us so we only used one bedroom but there would be plenty of room for 5 people to sleep. We had a most enjoyable week at 1 Beechcroft cottage 1 ; a cosy and quiet cottage very close to Seahouses Harbour and village. The property was modern and very well equipped with everything anyone could ever need. It was very clean and attractively decorated too. There was a real fire which we didn't use but this would be super in the Autumn/WinterRead more. The owners had kindly provided a big information folder of walks, good eating places and attractions. Our favourite walk was from Craster to Low Newton where we enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Ship Inn. Highly recommended. Seahouses is a great base to explore the region with plenty of walks and attractions in the area to suit every age group. We took a trip to Cragside NT, a stunning drive across the moors and a brilliant day out. We are very keen to return to the area to experience more of its beauty and atmosphere. We are coming to the end of our week at this holiday let and have found it to be an excellent base to explore Northumberland. The cottage is end of terrace and has a parking space which is a premium in this area, we are walking distance to the town of Seahouses.
