We enjoyed our stay, the cottage is a short drive from Warkworth or a lovely 15min walk along the river bank. Thankfully no building work was in progress during our stay but the outlook from the patio is onto scaffolded outbuildings which are being renovated. Friendly owners with lots of lovely horses, dogs & cats.

The short walk along the river into Walkworth is stunning! The bus links all the coastal villages. The welcome package at the cottage was a nice touch. We loved the large living area at the top of the house, especially on rainy days, but the other rooms felt like they needed a little bit of attention to bring them up to the standard of other cottagRead morees we have stayed in. However, it was a good price, due to the building work being done in the grounds, which didnt impact on our stay. Hide
