The cottage itself was lovely, with lovely views and very peaceful. We found the bed very uncomfortable, but I suppose this is a matter of preference. Some lovely villages only a few miles away, nothing within a short walking distance though

Lovely outside area with views of fields and farm land. Well equipped. Clean and well presented. Good location for Bamburgh which is a short car journey away. Cottage located just off A1 so easy to get to and find.

Nice property in a great location, which with a new mattress would be so much better - we were booked for 3 nights but left after 2 because of this. Other than that, the room although compact is well equipped for a few nights and the view across the fields is beautiful. The amount of information provided about the surrounding area was the best wed Read moreseen, from walks, restaurants and details of local vets. Very cosy with the log burner on. I would recommend but only if a new mattress is provided. Hide

Bamburgh Gate 2 was a lovely studio cottage for myself and my husband. We were immediately blown away when we walked in and my husband remarked it was a really good find. Small but perfectly formed and an excellent base for a week exploring Northumberland.

Beautiful location with lots to do. However, if you want a holiday where you like to relax at the accommodation, then youd probably want something a bit bigger. Its a lovely little cottage, but slightly claustrophobic.

This is a lovely little cottage in a wonderful location - easy journey to those great beaches and historical sites. We keep coming back and probably will next year - our dogs love it too. It is well worth the long journey from Hampshire!
