I found Blue Barn to be clean, spacious, comfortable and incredibly well equipped. The dog grooming kit was the icing on the cake of a very thoughtful inventory. When I made my booking, I wasnt certain that the location was ideal, but the road through Warenton seems to be very seldom used in February, and my stay was wonderfully quiet. I had no proRead moreblem walking my spaniel along the roadside each morning. Super location and lovely accommodation. I could recommend it to even my fussiest friends. Hide

Perfect venue for peace & quiet but to reach the coastal towns was quite a drag in view of the roadworks in place at the time, but we were there in off peak. The Barn was well equipped, warm, (in spite of 6" of snow outside) and very comfortable. The welcome pack was indeed very welcome as we were snowed in for 36 hours!

This is an outstanding holiday home, every little detail thought through. Very quiet and peaceful. The only draw back is that there are no pubs/shops within easy walking distance, so we had to take the car out each day. As it was mid winter we decided to go out during the day and have lunch out and then snack in the cottage in the evening, where asRead more would normally have gone out for dinner rather than lunch, if facilities had been closer. We would highly recommend the cottage. Hide

We really loved the property, it was warm and had a friendly feel. It was clean and tidy. The views were spectacular out the front windows overlooking Holy Island and the sea. It is placed in a good place to get to the A1 and the beach. The wet room for easy access was a nice touch.
