Lovely cottage really well located for exploring Northumberland. We went as far as Edinburgh and North Berwick as it was an easy drive. We were blessed with incredible weather for a September week! The cottage is really well equipped and have the best view over to Bamburgh. Black Swan is the best local pub for food ( literally about 4 doors away) bRead moree careful parking though as we thought the discs in the cottage were the permits for the car park - they are not and we subsequently got a fine. Wonderful place. Beautifully equipped with interesting decor and art. But the best thing is the view. Sunsets over the harbour, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne Castles on the horizon, Farne Island lighthouses blinking goodnight.

Stunning property. Has the WOW factor as soon as you walk in. Lovely decor and furnishings. Spotlessly clean. Welcome pack of fizz and goodies much appreciated. The view from the picture window in lounge is breathtaking. Dog friendly too. Lots of dog friendly eateries nearby but well equipped kitchen meant we ate in too. We will definitely be back.

We first stayed at Coastguard Watch a few years ago and it was by far one of the best cottages weve ever taken - both in Seahouses and elsewhere around the country.
