This lovely cottage, perched on Seahouses’ harbour front, abounds in luxury and charm. Sleeping up to six, this is the perfect spot for a holiday in Northumberland with family and friends.

With phenomenal sea views across the Seahouses’ harbour, this cottage is surrounded by beautiful beaches – offering plenty of walking opportunities just off your doorstep. The cottage is also just a stone’s throw away from the array of shops, restaurants and pubs that the vibrant village of Seahouses has to offer. From the cottage window, it’s possible to spot the famed Farne Islands home to a variety of exciting wildlife which can be visited on a day trip. The atmospheric Holy Island is another fantastic day-trip from Seahouses, as are the numerous castles scattered around the area including the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, perched high above the ocean on its rocky plateau.


This two-storey inverted level cottage is superbly finished and full of thoughtful touches to make your holiday even more special. Every aspect of the cottage is homely yet luxurious and has all the facilities to cater for families, even those with dogs. On the ground floor, you will encounter one king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom. These two rooms share a large family bathroom, complete with a shower cubicle, a bath and WC. A cot is also available in the master bedroom. Ascending to the first floor, you'll find an open-plan lounge/diner which is both spacious and comfortable – with ample seating centring around a cosy woodburner. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a range of modern facilities, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, and dishwasher. The third bedroom, a double, has an en-suite bathroom containing a shower cubicle, a bath and a WC.


There are some lovely outdoor spots at the cottage too. The open-plan lounge opens out into a large Juliette balcony with breath-taking views across the harbour. The back door of the property leads to a gorgeous courtyard area with outdoor furniture, where you can relax and enjoy some afternoon sunshine. Across the patio, there is a very useful utility/shower room/dog-drying room – perfect after sandy seaside walks. Parking for one car is available at the front of the property . A parking permit for a second car in the main car village park is also provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This cottage offers private guest membership to use the facilities of The Ocean Club in Seahouses. This includes the 20-metre indoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool and spa/sauna area and a wide variety of equipment in the Fitness Suite. You can even book an hour with a personal trainer.

For those of you looking to relax a little more, you can treat yourself to a pamper day with a facial, a massage, a manicure or indulge in one of the specialist therapies on offer.There is also a coffee shop with a bar licence and free Wi-Fi to meet up with friends and family after your visit to the club.

Please note, the membership pass allows entry to this private Club. There is a charge to pay per visit of £7 per adult and £4 per child (Children under 2 go free).

a lovely converted fisherman's cottage with superb view over the harbour and as far as Lindisfarne. Comfortable for a family, with plenty of bathrooms!car parking for 1 car OK but a 2nd car has to be in the main Seahouses car park.

Love this cottage; this is the second visit we have made to it. Very well equipped, with an excellent location wihich gives stunning views over the harbour and Farne Islands. We had a problem with the waterworks which was sorted by the time we returned from our outing, so very pleased with the fast response.

Excellent holiday from beginning to end. You could not find a more suitable rental house in Seahouses with a view to die for. Even nice touches such as a little welcome hamper . Everything is clean and tidy and there is everything you could possibly need. We could not fault the holiday at all. We left two coats in the cupboard under the stairs and Read morethey even sent them back to us. Excellent service. Would definitely return to this beautiful cottage. Hide

The cottage was fantastic. Was comfortable and cozy. The views are stunning and you can see Bamburgh Castle in the backdrop. Seahouses is a lovely area and we met a lot of great locals who were all very friendly. We can't wait to go back again.

We visited in January this year and had a fabulous time. The cottage is amazing, immaculate and very tastefully decorated has everything you would need, cannot praise it enough. Parking at door and just a 2 min walk into town. Seahouses is a smashing place, with a beach second to none.

This was a return visit so we knew the cottage was of a high standard and we were not disappointed upon arriving. Coastguard Watch is a regular home from home and in some cases better than home! We don't have the view at home!! We enjoyed having the cottage as a base to walk in the area. Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh, Holy Island and into Northumbrian countryside too as well as around and about Beadnell, the Golf Course, the Long Sands and the harbour at Seahouses.
