This lovely, spacious cottage is situated in a quiet location, just a short stroll from the thriving centre of Alnwick, with its popular market, bars, shops, art galleries and restaurants.

This gorgeous property is situated in the heart of Alnwick, within easy walking distance of Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Gardens and The Treehouse, its wonderful restaurant, the singular and inviting Barter Books, and the popular markets in the town square. Explore Northumberland’s stunning area of natural beauty, including Dunstanburgh Castle, the Northumberland National Park, Alnmouth’s beautiful beach and the harbour. Bamburgh is close by, with its lovely beach, village, and castle, and Beadnell Bay is perfect for water sports enthusiasts. Lindisfarne (Holy Island) is a short sail away or The Farne Islands, with their amazing wildlife, are just a short hop from Seahouses. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole golf course at Seahouses or the other friendly courses in the area. Also make the most of being situated in the Dark Skies National Park, Europe’s largest area of protected night sky. Perfect for stargazing.

Set over three floors, on the ground floor, this lovely cottage has a stunning kitchen/diner, with a glass dining table that seats six. The kitchen has a dishwasher, electric hob and oven, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer. There’s a cloakroom/WC on this level, and the lounge is very spacious with a beautiful bay window, an armchair and a corner sofa that seats six. With a glass coffee table and attractive lamps, this really is a place to relax. The TV/DVD are enhanced by a sound bar, there’s an iPod dock too. On the first floor are two of the bedrooms, a king-size with a TV and a twin, and a lovely bathroom, with a shower over the bath and WC. Climbing to the second floor, the final bedroom is a further king-size with a TV and an en-suite shower room, and WC. 

There is off-road parking for up to two cars on the private driveway. There’s a small patio area, enclosed by a wooden fence, at the rear of the cottage. The patio is accessed from the kitchen and has a BBQ, and a table with seating for six.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely quiet location. Near to Barter Books with Cafe. Close to parks and play areas for kids and dog. A nice and easy walk into town. Beautiful holiday cottage.

Great location, short walk to centre of Alnwick and all attractions. Cottage well equipped, everything you need to satisfy all ages, including three teenagers! Good quality and tasteful fittings and furniture. Plenty of parking and very friendly and welcoming neighbours. Very relaxing break all in all and would definitely book again.

The house is lovely, very clean, very well and tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. Great entertainment system with access to digital TV services for a wet day. It is in a great location for walking into town and also a short drive from great walks and places to visit. The town itself is lovely.

Conveniently located within the town, at the end of a cul-de-sac, this is a high specification property that is great for a family of 4 or 5 (with teenage children) but can accommodate up to 6 people within 3 bedrooms. The house was fabulous very modern wholly down to IKEA in a great quiet location beds so comfortable and shower great in our room which was en suite. Very clean. We cooked six nights and managed with the equipment well. Dish washer always a bonus. It wasnt cheap but you get what you pay for.

This cottage is lovely, as two of our party are gluten free it was fabulous to have such a well equiped kitchen to make our own food. We are from Australia and spent two weeks in the UK before travelling on to Iceland, therefore the washer dryer was really great. The location of the cottage and parking spaces were perfect.
