We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Dolphin dream cottage. The location was perfect for visiting the area and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was well kitted out with everything needed for a perfect stay. We hope to visit again.

Overall the cottage is nice. Warm and well provided. However, we were at the end of a very poor clean, probably a very quick turn around. The sheets and bedding were litterally thrown on the beds, not tucked in, they were stained. There were sanitary wrappings and towels under beds and chest of drawers. There was poo and wee remains around the toilRead moreets. The kitchen was all sticky, the kitchen cupboards handles were horrible. I had to put all the cutlery and plates and cups in the dishwasher. :0 Hide

This was our first time at Dolphin dream cottage, although we have stayed at another property several times on the same site previously. The outlook is what makes this property, its second to none! We enjoyed another fabulous week in Northumberland.

This is a lovely spacious cottage in a great location. The views across to the Holy Island causeway are lovely with plenty of other interesting things to observe. A week wasn't long enough to explore all there is to see, castles, beaches, beautiful countryside and towns.

A nice, clean and well equipped house with the benefit of very thick walls and modern fittings. Although overlooking the A1 and main railway line these provided interest as did the distant view of the causeway to Lindisfarne. It proved a great centre for island and castle visiting, walking bits of long distance footpaths and for tracking down ancieRead morent ring and cup marks. The Lindisfarne Inn is in easy walking distance and is ok while we preferred the Black Bull in Lowick. Hide
