Our trip was planned for May 2020 but was obviously postponed. I was slightly worried about the cleanliness comments left, but we found the whole property was lovely and clean. It is so conveniently located near the harbour. Slightly tight getting the car into and out of the parking area but was never an issue. Great location, but in need of a deep clean. We had a great time and the location was superb, but we were disappointed with cleanliness of the house. It was grimy in places, very dusty, lots of cobwebs, and generally looking very tired. Given covid, there is no excuse at the moment for properties not being spotless, especially since guests are currRead moreently required strip beds and sort towels into bags, and to depart at 9am to allow for extra cleaning. We arrived to a cottage which had barely been cleaned. Arriving during the coronavirus pandemic made this unsafe. We spent the first evening cleaning the cottage and we're disgusted with the colour of the mop bucket water and cloths we'd used to clean. There was hair and dental floss on the bathroom floor and food stuck to the dining table. All we'Read moreve been offered is a 75 refund. Nice cottage. Situated not far from harbour. Cleanliness not to standard. Had to scrub clean oven racks before we could use oven. Sand on TV unit, bathroom shelving and plates all dusty. Quilt only thin.

The cottage is clean and comfortable but some of the furniture is a little bit tired ( double bed frame needs replacing ). It is very cosy and has everything you need. The cottage is in a great location, car parking however is a little bit vague as to where you can park. A great base for your holiday and I would definitely recommend.
