Lovely cosy cottage, well supplied and stocked with everything in the kitchen you could require. Welcome bonus of biscuits, jam and a pint of milk in the fridge. A little grubby in areas but to be honest, it would be impossible for owners to deep clean before every arrival - they have a 5-6 hour window between guest leaving and new one arriving (doRead moregs included) so I'm not sure what some other reviewers expect. Master bedroom and ensuite were unusable on our arrival byt highlighted to owners. Hide

A good choice for any time of the year, cottage warm and the pool was very warm. Location near Bamburgh and Seahouses is good and although outside you could hear the traffic on the A1 inside it was quiet and comfortable.

We spent a long weekend at fordson cottage to celebrate a birthday. The cottage was lovely and cosy. Plenty of space for our party of 6 and our dog. Lovely touches with the marmalade and biscuits. Best bit was the swimming pool which we used every day. Would definitely come again.
