The traditional market town of Alnwick is under a 10-minute drive, while the attractive sandy beaches of Low Newton and more are within easy reach. Keen golfers will be pleased to learn that there is a course nearby, while those looking for pure relaxation can book in for treatments or a swim at the estate's spa to wind down and recharge their batteries.

Combining original period features with all the conveniences you need, the cottage features everything you'll need for a comfortable family stay and includes central heating throughout. On the ground floor, the cosy lounge has an open fire along with a TV and DVD, while the dining room has seating for six and a traditional fireplace set with an electric fire. With an electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge with ice box, the kitchen is well-equipped and retains many of its period features. The ground floor also features the bathroom, with a shower over the bath. Taking the stairs up to the first floor guests will find there are three bedrooms one double and two twins, with bedroom three also home to a cot. Each has far-reaching countryside views for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep.

Outside, guests can enjoy having sole access to an enclosed garden bordered by a hedge, with a table and chair set that seats six, set within the grounds of the estate as well as including outdoor storage for bicycles.
