Nice cottage in a lovely area. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. We did struggle with the door lock at first but soon got the hang of it. Unfortunately downstairs smelled very strongly of dog, which was somewhat understandable since this is a dog friendly property, but could have been better with air freshener and open windows. The showerRead more cubicle could also have been a little cleaner and benefited from a quick clean before use. Would recommend to people who want to holiday with dogs. Hide

Lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere. Great for outdoorsy families. The cottage was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. I would recommend Hornbeam cottage to anyone who wants to just get away from the humdrum of everyday life. Met the host briefly and he couldnt have been more helpful! Great value for money too!

Lovely comfortable accommodation, equipped with everything we needed and has a detailed information pack. Lovely enclosed garden area, ideal for the dog. Lovely area for walking. Peaceful and very remote, approximately 20 minute drive to shops. Wifi is great as no phone signal unless you walk half way up the hill. Good detailed directions received Read moredays before travelling allows you to plan your journey and gain your bearings. Pleased we chose here, just a shame we couldn't stay longer. Hide
