A beautiful stone barn conversion, this property is ideal for a family looking for a stunning place to enjoy their holiday by the sea and within walking distance to the beach and Beadnell and a short drive to Seahouses.

The front and rear gardens are fully enclosed making it a very safe place for children and dogs.

Based just outside the beautiful Beadnell village and bay, this property consists of a converted farm building made from local stone. For more extensive families and friends looking to experience the Northumberland coast and the many attractions that are accessible close by, this property is the perfect location. Access to the famous Farne Islands, with puffins and grey seals, is nearby, and the property includes a private guest membership for the whole family to the local Ocean Club in Seahouses – including a swimming pool, fitness suite and spa.


Spacious and attractive, this converted barn is designed for comfort and relaxation. Upon entering the cottage, guests are greeted by a large lounge which comes complete with a wood burner, sofas and armchairs, plus a TV and DVD. For younger family members, a PlayStation 3 and games are also available in the area, as well as a Wii console in the bunk bedroom. The kitchen/diner provides all the amenities required for daily living, including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and a dining table with seating for eight. This property features three bedrooms two of which are on ground-floor level and the third en-suite bedroom on the upper floor which is accessed by a small staircase, one king-size bedroom with TV, one bunk bedroom with TV and Wii console, and one twin bedroom. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC.


The property features a significant amount of outdoor space, with over a quarter of an acre at the rear of the cottage, with stone wall enclosed gardens at both the front and rear of the property, making it safe and secure for both dogs and children. The rear garden includes a patio area with garden furniture and a trampoline for younger family members. A BBQ and outdoor games such as croquet, swing ball and badminton are also available. Off-road parking is available to the front of the property for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

This cottage offers private guest membership to use the facilities of The Ocean Club in Seahouses. This includes the 20-metre indoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool and spa/sauna area and a wide variety of equipment in the Fitness Suite. You can even book an hour with a personal trainer.

For those of you looking to relax a little more, you can treat yourself to a pamper day with a facial, a massage, a manicure or indulge in one of the specialist therapies on offer.There is also a coffee shop with a bar licence and free Wi-Fi to meet up with friends and family after your visit to the club.

Please note, the membership pass allows entry to this private Club. There is a charge to pay per visit of £7 per adult and £4 per child (Children under 2 go free).

Islestone cottage, Beadnell is located in a very peaceful setting. From there it is a lovely coastal ride to Seahouses and Bamburgh. Alnwick & the Holy Island is are quickly reached via the A1. For an Autumn break the cottage was very warm. It is in a great location, very private, surrounded by fields but close to the beach and village centre. Excellent base for exploring Northumberland. Boat trip to Holy Island/Farne Island was excellent. Indian restaurant in Seahouses was excellent and prices were very good. The 2 restaurants in Beadnell village were overpriced for pub food.
