This beautifully finished cottage on the coastal path links the busy village of Seahouses to Beadnell. Perfectly placed to enjoy the tranquillity and seclusion of the countryside.

This charming coastal cottage couldn't be more perfectly situated. Located on the coastal path between the nearby village of Seahouses which stretches along to Beadnell, you can enjoy being away from the crowds at this property while being only a stone's throw away from all of the action in Seahouses. Here there is a great choice of restaurants, pubs and shops as well as fabulous boat trips across to the Farne Islands. Perfectly situated for golf lovers, the friendly and welcoming Seahouses Golf Course is just a short walk from the cottage and the coastal villages of Bamburgh with its famous castle, Low Newton on Sea, Craster and Amble are all within easy reach.

Entering the property from the rear garden, you come into an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a 5 ring Rangemaster oven, perfect for keen cooks, as well as a microwave, fridge and washing machine. A limed oak dining table has seating for up to five guests and the light and spacious lounge area has two comfortable sofas and an armchair, perfect for relaxing in front of the wood burning stove, nestled in its own stone-built feature fireplace. There is a TV and DVD player where you can watch one of the DVDs provided. A conservatory looks out onto the lovely south facing garden and has a table and chairs, perfect for taking a leisurely breakfast. A wrought iron spiral staircase leads up to the first floor where you are met with views across the golf course out to the sea from the bedrooms and bathroom. Because of this staircase, the cottage isn't suitable for children under five years old. Three bedrooms sit on the first floor, a master bedroom with double bed, also a double and a single bedroom, all with views to the gardens or the sea. There is a spacious bathroom with a wet wall and bath with overhead shower, a basin and a WC.

Outside, there is a good sized south facing lawned garden and patio, perfect for relaxing outdoors on sunny days. A dining table, chairs and BBQ are also on the patio area for al fresco dining. Parking is at the front of the cottage on the access road.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a lovely time at Rileys retreat, the cottage was very clean, lovely comfy beds, plenty of towels and a good secure garden for the dog. The location is great, easy walk into the village centre and to the beach. A dishwasher would be good and a bigger fridge for a family of 4 but we would definitely stay again.

Rileys Cottage is delightful. It is very well furnished and equipped. The conservatory was an extra bonus ant the garden was lovely too. The beach was very close- just across the golf course.

A wonderfully warm and bright cottage with the added bonus of a cosy conservatory, and a log burner. Bedrooms all a good size with plenty of storage. We loved the spiral staircase.
