Had a really lovely holiday. The cottage was very warm and cosy and had everything we needed. There was a fantastic dog walk very close by and easy driving distance to explore beaches. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and walks from the door a real bonus. Bed was so comfortable with luxury bedding. Downstairs furniture also very comfortable. Once hedge cut in back garden the view was amazing, beautiful views across open countryside can be seen from upstairs. Had everything you needed to make meals. So peaceful, had a wonderful stay.

Great base for exploring Northumberland. Cottage clean and had everything you needed, although some of the equipment needed upgrading. However did not spoil our experience. Recommendations: Mumbai Indian restaurant in Alnwick. Dirty Bottles pub in Alnwick, did not eat here but menu looked good. Craster Arms pub in Beadnell, good food. Picture of front of house needs updating. The bed layout in the middle bedroom means you have to climb over the beds to get to the window, really should be a single or have bunkbeds. Neither of the toilets have washbasins (although hand sanitiser is provided), the upstairs toilet is at the opposite end of the landing to the bathroom, so you have waRead morelk past the bedrooms to get from one to the other, something to consider if you have light sleepers staying. On arrival, disappointed to find that the cottage hadn't had a proper clean. The cottage really needs some TLC but perhaps this will happen once the building works are finished. Location is good and The Rocking Horse cafe is just along the road, great food and dog friendly. Low Newton beach lovely for walking the dogs in the evening.

The cottage is in a lovely location, within easy reach of fantastic beaches, Alnwick, boat trips and great walks. It is very handy for the A1 but also in a very peaceful rural setting. There is a fantastic cafe just along the road. It is spacious and the living area downstairs is very comfortable, with a modern kitchen. Parking is straightforward.
