Modern building with mod cons in quiet rural location. Not too much off-road walking in the immediate vicinity (the old bull and cows in field trick was deployed nearby) but a short drive gets you to loads of old railway paths with many parking options so you could walk short stretches. Though it feels very much in the countryside, it is handy for Read morefood shops in Consett. Lovely bread from the Knitsley farm shop. Good location from which to visit Durham one way, Corbridge and Hexham the other. Hide
