Northumbrian cottage set in the peaceful surroundings of the countryside, a short drive away from local amenities. Includes shared access to hot tub!

This luxurious cottage made for two is set in the peaceful surroundings of the countryside, yet still within reach of the village Bamburgh. As well as a close proximity to the village, you will also be close to Bamburgh Castle and many beautiful beaches. The cottage, one of a trio of converted farm workers cottages has been refurbished to an incredibly high standard and with many extra special touches, such as access to a new, shared six-seater luxury hot tub, to help you unwind, relax and truly make the most of your well-deserved break. The Farne Islands, including the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, are just off the coast and are accessible via a short boat trip.

On entering the property, you'll find a modern, galley-style kitchen containing an electric oven and hob, an under-the-counter fridge and a microwave, for all your self-catering needs. The comfortable seating, a TV and a flame effect electric fire. A dining table with two chairs, from which you can look out on to the rear decking area, completes the lounge. Also located on the ground floor is a shower room with WC. Moving up to the first floor of the property, you'll find the master bedroom, containing a king-size bed and TV. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Outside at the rear, you can unwind on the elevated decking area with private table and chairs, listening to birdsong in the evenings or perhaps catch a shooting star or search for planets in the area's celebrated dark skies. Off-road parking for one car is available at the front of the cottage.

This is a very well presented and comfortable cottage with everything you could need in it. It really felt like home from home and we agreed that we could happily live there. The hot tub was an added bonus! Would happily go back there and recommend it to anyone looking to visit this area.

The property was lovely and no complainants about that but i do feel the owners should be a bit more honest about the location in their wording. It is remote, a mile off the B road to Bamburgh. Everything is at least 2 miles walk on narrow winding lanes with often fast cars ' Pub and shop within walking distance' is not very inviting. I thought i wRead moreas booking a cottage just outside Bamburgh. One only learns the actual location when balance paid. As esp we like to leave the car at the property. Hide

The cottage is perfect for two, very quiet location and yet only a couple of miles from the A1 so easy to get to Berwick, Lindisfarne or Alnwick. The on site manager was very helpful when there was a problem with the tv and got it fixed quickly. Parking is right outside, which is always useful.
