Ideal holiday home for families or groups of friends, this traditional yet beautiful cottage with a contemporary-style decor finish is the perfect place to stay to discover Seahouses and the Northumberland coast.

Nestled within central Seahouses, the cottage is just a short walk from the village harbour, where keen explorers can catch a boat to the Farne Islands and observe the wonders of British nature, including puffins and grey seals. Walkers and cyclists can also enjoy the delights of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, discovering stunning beaches and beautiful coastal villages. The cottage is also very close to village shops, pubs and restaurants, offering a convenient place to enjoy a lovely holiday in a remarkable part of the UK.

This stunning cottage offers spaciousness and amenities for guests to making for a very pleasant home from home. On the ground floor, the lounge features a multi-fuel stove, a flat-screen TV/DVD and CD player and two four-seater sofas. The kitchen/dining area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. There is also a dining table for six guests and the comfort of an open fire. On the first floor you will encounter two restful bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom includes a double bed and en-suite bathroom with WC and bath. a third bedroom has twin beds. There is also a separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside at the rear of the property, there is a shared courtyard with off-road parking for two cars. There is also a secure garage where guests can store diving equipment, surfboards, bicycles etc. Guests with children and dogs should note that the shared courtyard is not enclosed.  Additional info: The cottage is heated by LPG gas central heating**, and there is double glazing throughout making this cottage suitable for a break at any time of year. (**Please note, there is a coin meter for the gas central heating/hot water, which is located in the small unit beneath the boiler, in the kitchen. The owner provides a generous contribution at the beginning of each stay so it is unlikely that you will need to add to this however, for your information, the system takes £1 coins should you need to add any in an emergency).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

superb cottage with everything that you need. Three generations enjoyed the location and although address is Main Street there is no noise at night. Easy walk to the sea and eateries and shops very close by. Not certain that suitable for families with very young children as no safe outside space.

The owner has obviously put a lot of time and effort into the decor and furnishings especially the quality of the mattresses which are excellent and very comfortable, and the location is great.we will definitely return again.

White Sails Cottage is conveniently situated for visiting all the best attractions in this part of Northumberland. The cottage was spacious and quite comfortable - especially the beds. The en-suite bathrooms were very useful with 4 adults in the cottage. The cottage was very roomy and most rooms were very bright and airy. It was really handy having 3 bathrooms (although one shower cubicle is quite small). The location is quiet and very handy for the shops and harbour.

Lovely spacious cottage right on the high street. Warm and cosy with 2 open fires and efficient heating system. Parking for 2 cars and a huge lockable garage. We had a lovely time in this 3 bed, 3 bathroom holiday cottage. The rooms are very spacious, the beds comfortable and the cottage is ideally located in the middle of Seahouses, with shops, restaurants and take-aways very close by. We visited local beaches and castles, as well as the mini golf in Seahouses. Very comfortable accommodation, perfect blend of a traditional terrace cottage with modern comforts. Spacious living room for six and all bedrooms are a comfortable size. We will certainly use this accommodation again when visiting Northumberland. P.S. The Ship Inn is an exceptional pub, traditional and very friendly.

Beautifully fitted out cottage in a fantastic location of Seahouses. Plenty of space and nice to have 3 bathrooms. A little gem of a find, will be back. Great too if you have a dog. Bamburgh Castle Inn and Pinnacles fish and chip shop allow dogs in, also 5-minute walk to the beach. Perfect!

The house is warm and cosy and with the front room multi burner stove working it was very special. We walked to Beadnell, Bamburgh and Snook point in glorious weather and had bus rides to Alnwick and Berwick for life in the "big "metropolis. The local attractions worth seeing in a 20mile radius are Warksworth Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Alnwick Castle and many more, need a good week to get around all the attractions, lovely area, would definitely visit again.
