We had a lovely week at the cottage. It was comfy and quiet. Great location to explore castles and abbeys and beaches and the beautiful countryside. The owner was exceptionally helpful during our stay which was much appreciated.

I am surprised neither the website details nor any reviews mention the difficulty entering and especially leaving the parking area. Well equipped and comfortable cottage. Really reasonably priced. Enjoyed the location as not stayed in this area before. Co-op is very handy although expensive. Lots of flooded roads around Wooler when we stayed but joined the local Facebook page which provided handy updates and guidance.

A lovely cottage, in the perfect location. Clean, comfortable, has everything you'd need, and a lovely garden. Shops, pubs, cafes and supermarket a couple of minutes' walk away.
