The cottage is comfortable with a beautiful view from the patio area in the garden- dont be put off by the side of the property that you see when you arrive. Comfortable, snug and quiet. Vehicular access VERY tight. Some basic kitchen equipment missing eg no roasting tins

It is a great little house which was clean and had pretty much all we needed for our holiday. Some things could have been more modern or shinier, but it felt comfortable and safe. Kitchen was well equipped. Well located off the main road with some nice outdoor space - apple trees in garden were a bonus in September.

Great location for supermarket and dog walks. You get used to the church bell ringing the hour after the first night. Only complaint is it is definitely not an enclosed garden. Our border collie had to be kept on the lead in the garden (which was lovely by the way) to stop him getting out on the road or neighbours adjoining gardens. The cottage is in a great location but requires a degree of care to drive in through the gap. It is a little tatty but well equipped. The beds are comfy and the garden pretty but the table and chairs need sanding and repainting. Beware the back gate is broken and there is a perilous drop so watch your babies. Coop handy and pubs serving food nearbyRead more. Nothing vegan. You need to fight to get to the freezer and the porch door does annoy. The Cheviots and St Cuthberts way are on the doorstep. Cosy. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Wooler has good places to eat and cottage is well placed between the coast and Cheviots.

The best thing about the cottage is it's location in Wooler which is quiet and probably the only small town around with good facilities, plus it's an ideal base for trips out. Whilst the cottage really doesn't lack anything, it's pretty basic at best and whilst many people seem to have found it fine, we never felt at home and really only slept therRead moree. With a refresh and some more modern appliances/furniture it could be a lot better, but as it is, we would not hire it again. Hide
