This property nestles in the grounds of the owners’ working equestrian centre in a delightful rural setting punctuated by country lanes and has been lovingly furnished to provide a luxurious retreat.

Perfectly placed, there is much to see and do nearby with the stunning cathedral city of Exeter being just a short drive away and offering a variety of shops, restaurants and amenities. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a barge for the day. Walkers will also be in their element with the Blackdown Hills an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks all within each reach. Beach lovers can explore the world-renowned Jurassic coastline, including picturesque Lyme Regis, and the pretty seaside resorts of Sidmouth and Branscombe. There are also a number of National Trust Properties in the area including the Killerton and Knightshayes.

Step inside this stunning property and you will be mesmerised by the amazing original art work that adorns the walls throughout. The first area is an undeniably useful lobby with lots of boot and coat storage, and here decant all of your outdoor wear after a day exploring. The accommodation then opens into a fabulous light and bright hallway which extends up to the first floor and is presented with beautiful contemporary chandeliers. Owing to the upside down arrangement of the property, the beautiful bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The first of which is a super-king with a lovely freestanding bath in the room, gorgeous countryside views, and an en-suite WC; then a pretty twin bedroom which boasts a concealed dressing area and en-suite shower room with WC. Venturing up the feature oak staircase and onto the first floor, the property then opens up into an impressive and contemporary lounge/kitchen/diner area with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and stunning views of the valley. Here you can relax on the cosy sofas in front of the wood burner effect gas fire and catch up on your favourite TV programme. The kitchen is also perfectly appointed and offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, cook up a storm and enjoy your meal in the sophisticated dining area.

Heading outside and located to the side of the property, a fabulous enclosed outside area has been provided for your enjoyment and leisure and this includes a lovely sun-trap patio with a private hot tub, garden furniture and BBQ, alongside an area of lawn. An external utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, and on the other side of the property there is another large enclosed gravelled area offering ample private off-road parking alongside a secure area of grass and trees for doggy visitors.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

What an amazing holiday let. Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. The property has been converted to a fantastic standard, the cleanliness was second to none, the property was equipped with everything needed for a family of four. The hot tub was used every and was a lovely addition. The underfloor heating was amazing and on the odd occasion the heater Read morewas used to 'take the edge off' but plenty of lovely fleece blankets were included to make the evenings snug and cosy. Such a lovely place to stay, so clean, comfortable & with everything you would need to make your stay perfect. Having the hot tub was a great bonus to the end of each day & the bed was really comfy too. The owners were very friendly.

This is a fantastic property, feels luxurious and special with beautiful views. Well thought out for a dog owner especially. Feels safe with the owners closeby but also so private too. Lovely treats to welcome you and everything you need. I had a really lovely time on my first holiday with my new dog. Most definitely the best holiday let, that we have had the pleasure of booking. The converted barn was quite exceptional and the surrounding views were stunning. The family loved using the hot tub in the evening, viewing the stars and enjoying the views!

Stunning location and views. The art house is cosy and beautiful. We were warmly welcomed by owners and the hot tub has brilliant views of the surrounding fields and animals. Lots of dog walks surrounding too. Highly recommend.
