The property is a short walk to the village pub, shops and even a restored watermill. Just a short drive away is a variety of local beauty spots such as Mid-Wales' highest mountain Pen-Y-Fan, Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve and Llangorse Lake, offering beautiful walks for all ages. The property is also just a short drive to the ever-popular town of books, Hay-on-Wye. There is lots to see and do during your days of exploration, such as climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing and horse riding, before some star gazing in the evening. And, for the more laid-back guests there are lovely market towns including Brecon and Crickhowell within easy reach.

From the kitchen, there is an internal hallway to the stylish shower room with large walk-in waterfall shower and WC. Further along the hallway is the king-size bedroom. This is a quality residence for the more discerning guest, with underfloor heating throughout, making this perfect for couples and families plus up to two dogs, any time of the year.

Outside there is a private decked area overlooking the orchard, stream and woodland beyond. There is garden furniture and a BBQ for some al fresco dining during the spring and summer months. Amazing cottage! Very clean, has everything we needed and the location was perfect for all our dog walks. The little town it is in has everything you need. We are already thinking about going back in the summer. We managed to get the hot tub going despite the cold temps and was well worth it. Thank you!

Fabulous modern lodge, very well equipped kitchen and in easy reach of the shops and pubs in the village. The floor to ceiling glass windows were wonderful. It really is in an orchard - you are surrounded by apples and pears! We enjoyed the walks up into the Black Mountains and the nearby Nature Reserve.

Very good cottage, good beds, private even though there is another lodge on the same site. The hot hub warmed up very quickly in a hot June week. Local people are very friendly with good stiff walks from the door. Steps down to lodge are tricky if you are not good on your pins. The hob needed to be turned on and off regularly to make work.
