Set at the foot of the River Teme, this stunning detached home is both stylish and elegant, creating the perfect backdrop for any special occasion. Outside, beautifully landscaped gardens, complete with fire pit, take you to the water’s edge. Simply magical.

From the property you are within walking distance of Ludlow’s centre with a glut of local food producers and eateries, local artisans selling their bespoke wares as well as a weekly food market which is not to be missed. This vibrant town offers a year-round events calendar celebrating food, crafts and theatre with the showcase for this being the Food Festival in September. If you have time to escape this vibrant town, there’s much to see further afield, Stokesay Castle, Wenlock Priory and Severn Valley Railway.

Drive through the gates and get your first glimpse of this spectacular private home with sympathetically landscaped gardens that take you right down to the water’s edge. Enter the property on the lower ground floor, step into the entrance hall and leave the day behind. You are greeted by a uniquely designed bar area and a fantastic large open-plan living/dining room with seating for up to 14 people. This is a beautiful space created for entertaining and further enhanced by the elegant interior. The living area has views of the river from the far end and architect-designed arched windows offering views onto the garden. This is a perfect room for pre-dinner drinks or to simply relax on a Sunday morning. Sliding doors lead onto a covered terrace with river views, soft seating and garden table and chairs that will comfortably sit 14 guests. From this space go through to the kitchen which was previously used to create Michelin-starred food. It is well-equipped with two electric ovens, three separate induction hobs, three sinks, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also an additional tall fridge/freezer for extra capacity. Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom suite, a luxurious and spacious room with a super king-size bed and large glazed doors leading to a private balcony overlooking the river, TV and a separate sitting room with sofa bed and en-suite bathroom and WC. Passing back through the snug/TV room you will have access to a utility room and another spacious bedroom suite with beautiful views of the river, super king-size bed, sitting/dressing room, TV, kitchenette and en-suite shower/steam room and WC. We had an amazing week celebrating 60th birthdays. Perfect house, so spacious and well equipped. Location in Ludlow is great for going out without needing to drive. Lots to do, visit and walks directly from the house. Renting the hot tub was well worth it. We will return and highly recommend.

What a fabulous house in a fabulous location. Can't fault either. We had a fantastic family get together over the easter week. Can't recommend this house enough. Only thing I'll say is that pots and pans weren't really big enough or enough of them to cater for 12 people. An extra kettle for example would be great to make tea and coffee for 12 in onRead moree go, rather than having to boil the kettle 2 or 3 times. It's only a small thing which didn't spoil our stay, just a nice to have. Highly recommend! Hide
