We had a text the day before arrival to see if we needed anything. Beverly was there to greet us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property explaining how everything worked. All very good. The cottage is just want we wanted and is in a great location. The approach lane is a bit of a nuisance as it is rather steep and not a great surface. HaRead moreving said that it didn't bother us very much. Hide

Lovely place, great base for touring Weardale and surrounding areas. The one very slight downside is the very steep, rough approach road leading up to the property.
