Nestled within an exclusive development of charming bungalows, this lovely property balances original features with modern luxuries, making it the perfect place to stay to explore North Cornwall.

In the hamlet of Penhallow, this cottage has a fantastic position with a family friendly village pub just a stone’s throw away, and with miles of countryside around, it’s the perfect holiday destination for long, peaceful walks discovering the beauty of the area. Its central location makes this property a perfect base for exploring all of Cornwall. Only a short drive from the A30, you will have an easily accessible link to all areas, from the western towns of St Ives and Penzance, to the south coast with Falmouth and St Austell, or the surfer’s haven of Newquay just north. Perranporth is just a short trip, with three miles of golden sand, and an abundance of amenities.

Greeted by the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner on entering the property, the homely décor and vibe create a welcoming space in your holiday cottage. The whole floor is slate, with a rug covering much of the lounge area to keep your feet warm when relaxing on the comfortable furnishings watching the TV/DVD. There is also a feature stone fireplace, with an electric heater to keep the chill off in the colder months. The dining table is large enough to seat up to four people, whilst the kitchen is fully fitted with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer. The cottage has two bedrooms, both of a good size and lovingly decorated; the first room is light and airy, with a king-size bed, whilst the second room has twin singles. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside you have use of the communal lawns and allocated parking for 1 car

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped, everything was comfortable and easy to use. The internet had great connection which was a bonus with two teenage boys. There was enough space, but having two teenage boys I would recommend looking at three rooms rather than 2. The location was great if you liked walking down to Perranporth but also onlyRead more a short drive away. Great that we could take the dog with us as he made us walk more. Good for the price. The cottage is set in a nice area the road outside is a bit on the fast side a small well kept grass area and a car parking not safe for kids to play as no gate.lane at the side used by buses and coaches morning and afternoon and traffic cut the corner cutting across the entrance

Quaint cottage in good location, not far from Perranporth, which is a nice beach, easy to cycle to from the cottage. Newquay is 15 mins drive away. Good facilities, but felt quite damp and musty on the colder wetter days, some good heating is required to keep clothes dry and warm. A second toilet is needed. Unfortunately the pub just opposite was cRead morelosed and under new management, so this meant driving somewhere for a meal/drink - the sooner that opens the better. all in all, a very pleasant stay. Lovely place clean & spacious nice & quiet where its located & easy to get to other places from here. Weve been here 3 times now & we look forward to it everytime. Its well equipped for everything you need highly recommend this cottage.

This is our second visit to this cottage which is Fantastic clean, comfortable & everything we wanted was there. Also a nice touch with wine,cookies,fudge & a pint of milk left for us. Close to get easily to different places. I would definitely recommend this cottage to other people but not the weeks we want!!!
