A great place to stay, literally on the edge of the beach. Porthallow is not a picture-book place, with working boats as well as sailing and canoeing. But the view from the front of the house is not the great thing: it is what you see from the dining-area, and especially if you carry your breakfast fifty yards down the beach. Lovely cottage- very comfortable and homely... in an incredible location. The view (and peacefulness) with the morning cup of tea is amazing. This is a brilliantly located cottage with fantastic views over the cove. It is light yet simultaneously cosy, with nice sofas and comfortable beds. When we weren't outside we spent most time in the well appointed kitchen/dining room looking out to sea and watching the beach life. A friendly pub opposite (no intrusive noise) and village cafe (half Read morea mile walk) offered nice food. A lovely peaceful location. A friendly welcome at the Five Pichards Pub and shops a couple of miles away. The view across the bay was great. The cottage is a great base fron which to explore the local area including the South West coastal path.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Right on beach front of a small cove. Extremely quiet location. Only stay if you are happy to drive to shops as none in village.

Little Pebble is a very comfortable cottage. Its position is perfect for anyone wanting to walk this section of the South West Coastal Path, in fact we couldnt have found anywhere closer to the path as it is literally outside the door!!! The Five Pilchards, just across the road, serves very good food.

The cottage is ideally located for those wishing to walk the coast path. It is adjacent to the coast path and an easy drive to other coves where other sections of the path can be accessed. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Dogs predominate in the pub and on the beach so surfers may prefer other locations.
