This property is situated just back from the beach in the Forelands area of the seaside village of Bembridge. The beach is a great place to relax, enjoy waterfront walks, and potter around exploring rockpools, crabbing, and paddling in the waves. There is a seafront cafe in warmer weather which offers delicious local food, as well as an interesting lifeboat museum which is located at the lifeboat station at the end of the pier. A public house well known for its lobster is also within a few minutes walk of the cottage. The village itself is home to several shops, as well as takeaways and pubs, and has a lovely relaxed feel to it. Due to the small size of the island, all the major attractions can be easily reached within easy driving distance, including The Needles, Blackgang Chine, Amazon World Zoo Park and Osborne House.
On arrival at this detached property guests are able to make themselves at home in the attractive lounge, where they will find two comfortable sofas, a brick fireplace with an electric stove fire, and a Smart TV. Next to this room, the kitchen/diner is a light-filled room with a door which leads out to the garden and is equipped with a gas cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and table and chairs. The property’s master bedroom, a double, can also be found on the ground floor, as can a contemporary-style shower room with spacious shower cubicle and WC. Stairs to the first floor, lead to a second lounge, a bright room which has seating and a Smart TV/DVD. The second bedroom, a twin with 2’6” beds, best suited to children, can also be found on the first floor, as can a separate WC.
To the rear of the property, guests will find a modestly-sized garden as well as parking for two cars. To the front of the cottage, meanwhile, an enclosed garden offers a relaxing place to sit with garden furniture provided, beyond which a gate leads to a grassed seafront area, which, in turn, gives access to steps down to the beach.
