A short stroll will bring you to the nearby village of Godshill, home to a variety of tearooms, restaurants and pubs. A wonderful walking area, footpaths lead from the farm to Appuldurcombe House and join the extensive Stenbury Trail to Ventnor for its lovely beach. Two other stunning sandy beaches, Shanklin and Sandown, are only a short drive away.

This barn conversion has been artfully designed to provide light and stylish accommodation with stunning rural views. The front door opens into a lovely hallway with an exposed staircase and plenty of room to leave coats, boots and bags. On the ground floor, the kitchen includes an electric oven, 2 ring electric hob, additional range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Once prepared, enjoy meals in the pleasant dining room next door featuring gorgeous hardwood floors. At the end of a long day on foot, relax and unwind together in the cosy lounge where you will find comfortable seating, a cosy rug and a TV/DVD. Upstairs, the open galleried landing leads to three charming bedrooms with exposed stone walls and ceiling beams. There is one double with en-suite bathroom, one twin and one room with a triple sleeper bunk bed suitable for two adults and a child sleeping above, or just two children. There is also a separate shower room.

Outside there is a lovely enclosed lawn garden with a picnic bench for enjoying al fresco meals in the sunshine. Cars can be parked close to the cottage.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful setting on a working farm just outside the beautiful village of Godshill, which is just a short walk away where we had some good pub meals and a nice tea garden. Loved the peace and tranquility. Probably the most chilled holiday I have had . . .

Comfortable pretty cottage with good parking situated in attractive farm complex. Well kitted out, bright and clean, back garden accessed from side of cottage and a short walk to Godshill which is a picturesque village. Lovely local walks with path onto the downs accessed from the back of the farm.

Stag cottage is located in a beautiful setting just behind the village of Godshill. It is surrounded by lovely walks ideal for children to run up and down spotting rabbits and picking blackberries. Fabulous location, nothing but birdsong & bleating lambs so great if you want to really relax & enjoy the countryside. Easy walks from the cottage so no need to be in the car all of the time, plenty of eating choices in Godshill just 15 minutes walk away via the wooded footpath & supermarkets within a few miles, ideal for chill-out break

A well planned property set in a beautiful setting of converted barns and farm buildings. Everything was better than expected and the location was really good being only a few minutes walk to the picturesque village of Godshill via country lane or bridlepath. A fantastic cottage. Well equipped, excellent kitchen, hot water supply/central heating and you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into their guest's experience in many ways. Super folder of information which was really well done, invaluable. Great location, lovely views, and GREAT that no pets allowed.
