Situated on the south west coast of the Island, just a two minute walk from the beach, this cottage sits within a completely unspoilt area. Brook Green is a pretty coastal hamlet, while the villages of Brook and Brighstone are nearby. Also close to the cottage are the sandy coves of Colwell Bay and Totland - both within a 10-15 minute drive. The area is famed for walking, with routes across the Brighstone and Bowcombe downs, as well as footpaths which run along the stunning coastline towards Blackgang in one direction and The Needles in the other.
The cottage has been decorated and furnished in a traditional style, in keeping with its picturesque surroundings. There’s a fitted kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine should you need one during your stay. There’s also a pleasant dining area in a conservatory-style part of the kitchen, which feels light and airy - the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee with the early sun streaming in. Relax in the cosy lounge which has comfortable seating and a TV/DVD. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with TV/DVD and a bathroom with a bath, built-in shower cubicle and WC. An open staircase leads to two further bedrooms - one king-size and a spacious single - plus a separate WC.
Enjoy the sunshine in the delightful enclosed garden with a patio area, which is equipped with garden furniture and a BBQ so you can enjoy dining al fresco. From here you can enjoy rural countryside views and breathe in the fresh sea air. Visitors can park by a short pathway which leads to the cottage for unpacking the car and then in a nearby fenced area just a minute’s walk away.
