This remarkable property has been furnished to a contemporary style, offering a private wood burning hot tub. The perfect bolthole for a family or couples alike.

Ideally located close to some of North Devon’s finest beaches, Saunton and Croyde are popular with surfers and bathers alike. The regional towns of Barnstaple and South Molton are nearby with popular pannier markets. Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the Tarka Trail and walk through the surrounding landscape, stunning in any season. In the height of summer, a small eco-campsite pops up in one of the fields and cream teas are served from the summer house. A pleasant walk to the village square where the local pub nestles, and all are welcome or buy provisions from the community shop. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens or Dartington Crystal.

As you arrive at this remarkable Devon retreat, take a moment to enjoy the grandness of this beautiful property. Enter the property either via the main door or utility room, which is the perfect spot to kick off your walking boots and let the dogs dry off after your day of exploring all that this county has to offer. Within the utility room you have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Following on through this delightful property you will enter the light and airy kitchen/diner area. The kitchen offers an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and slimline dishwasher. Pull back the bi-folding doors and enjoy supper dining alfresco. Head down the hallway and you enter the lounge area. The fabulous lounge area offers a further set of bi-folding doors allowing you to sit back and relax amongst the rich, soft furnishings and enjoy a night under the stars or watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV with Sky TV (basic package). After a long day head up the spilt staircase to the first floor where you will find, a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC and a twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with WC.

Outside the gravelled garden wraps around the property, offering a private hot tub, patio area with garden furniture. The property is accessed via a cattle grid and offers off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely converted barn, very well equipped and thoughtful welcome pack for people and doggies! Perfect for a relaxed holiday. Local pub, very welcoming and great food, highly recommend! The holiday cottage was superb. It has been done out to a very high standard. The hospitality from the owners was excellent and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The cottage is well suited for dogs and the treats left along with our lovely welcome pack were a nice touch.

The barn is beautifully renovated and is modern, light and airy. The ambience is relaxing and the furnishings very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipt and the welcome goodies were wonderful. Location is quiet and peaceful. Not too far from beaches, Barnstaple and coastal walks. Lovely

Skipping past the initial appearance for a second and onto the welcome welcome which begin with the owners asking to bare with them as they are new to this. Well they have set the bar very high. The barn conversion is beautiful and stylish and well furnished with good quality finishes and equipment. Bobs Barn is simply stunning. The owners have great taste in their design and furnishings and go over and above what is usually supplied in a self catering cottage. We had a lovely week. Upon arrival there was a great hamper waiting for us with bread, local cheese, scones, milk, wine, jams and Easter Eggs which our boys loved. We loved how comfortable the barn was and it had everything you needed. The village was lovely and quaint, unfortunately we didn't get chance to try the pub but our boys enjoyed playing Read morein the local park. The entrance is quite narrow but manageable. We had a fabulous week. It was beautifully furnished and equipped and the glass front get it a real wow factor. Wonderful holiday at Bob's barn. Mark & family made us feel very welcome and were more than happy to help if we needed anything. The little touches really made the difference (thoughtful local welcome basket/dog biscuits). Perfect for travelling to nearby beaches. Would certainly recommend to anyone :)
