The lounge was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and, by and large, a decent base for a holiday in East Devon/Dorset. The Rousdon Estate is a great location, well maintained and very peaceful and quiet. Chatted to a few people who live there permanently and they were welcoming and inclusive.

If you are looking for lovely comfortable accommodation in a peaceful environment, this is the ideal place. We loved our stay at this cottage despite choosing a bit of a bad week weather-wise and the cottage was a perfect haven to return to after a long day sightseeing. We would love to come back.

Beech cottage is a beautiful cottage situated on a picturesque and peaceful estate. It is an absolute haven for a holiday and a perfect base from which to explore Devon, Dorset and Somerset. The estate is also perfect for walkers and cyclists. We were sorry to leave and I am sure we will return in the future.
