This converted semi-detached cottage is conveniently located off the A38 and set to the side of the owners’ property (1 of 3 properties).  The cosy, yet stylish property is perfect for couples wanting to explore the area. Onsite there are resident goats, horse and free range chickens. The perfect base to relax and enjoy yourself yet close to the wealth of attractions that Somerset has to offer including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Clarks Village and the excellent sandy beaches of Burnham and Brean. Situated in the centre of the Somerset Levels you will have a vast choice of walks and cycle routes. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included (£25 winter surcharge payable to owner on arrival September - end of May). Wi-fi available. While a cot and highchair are not supplied at the properties, you are welcome to bring your own with you. 2 dogs welcome.  Location: beach 2 miles, village shops and pubs within walking distance, supermarket and launderette in Highbridge 0.5 miles.  A single storey conversion offering light and airy accommodation and ONE double bedroom: with en-suite with large shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with TV, DVD, freeview and dining table. Kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Outside: private enclosed patio area with seating, to enjoy a glass of wine and BBQ.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely welcome from Sadie As previous reviews mentioned the property is on a main road. This didn't bother us at all. Made it easier to get to and from places All three pubs were within walking distance asda is a short drive away. Although the garden is decking and pebbles if your dog doesn't like pebbles, like ours doesnt, there is a lovely communRead moreal garden for them to use. The owners were delightful...there if you needed them but not in your face. The holiday home was clean and had everything we needed. The garden was enclosed and perfect for our dog. We had a really lovely stay.

The Cottage was in an ideal location for easy access to the surrounding areas and attractions. Whilst the Cottage was situated just off the busy A38, the advantages of easy access outweighed the disadvantage of the busy road. The Cottage had it's own secluded garden (benefitting from a view of wonderful sunsets) and access to a further communal garRead moreden which was great for our dog. An en-suite bathroom with large shower complimented the larger than average bedroom which had ample storage space. Hide

Friendly hosts, lovely accommodation, close to all amenities and a good central point for some lovely locations. Road was busy but didn't spoil the stay.
