A charming character cottage in a village location within walking distance of the beach. Explore the nearby New Forest National Park, harbour town of Lymington or simply light the fire and relax.

Heading up the garden path you access this beautiful cottage directly into the light and bright sunroom which overlooks the garden, here you can relax with a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. Further on you enter the lounge/diner, which is the perfect spot to relax and watch a film as it has an open fire and TV/DVD. Leading on from here you enter the hallway which has a compact separate WC, washing machine in the cupboard under the stairs and leads to the kitchen immediately to your right. The well-equipped and stylish space has an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher. Rising from the hallway are winding cottage stairs, leading to a pretty dressing room with a king-size bedroom next door. Adjacent to here is a stylish double bedroom and a contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC.

A shared path runs behind the cottage to the main door. On entering you are met with a hallway, which has a compact separate WC and leads to the kitchen immediately to your left. This well-equipped and stylish space has an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and dishwasher. Just next door is the lounge/diner, which is the perfect spot to relax and watch a film as it has an open fire and TV/DVD. Leading on from here is a light and bright sunroom overlooking the garden, here you can relax with a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet. Rising from the hallway are winding cottage stairs, leading to a pretty dressing room with a king-size bedroom next door. Going outside from the sunroom you will find a private garden with pretty patio, garden furniture and a long stretch of lawn. Located directly outside of the sunroom, it is the perfect spot for enjoying a drink or light meal alfresco.

Do not hesitate to book this cottage, it is first rate. The standard of cleanliness is high and extra attention is given to make it COVID safe. It is spacious, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The beds and bedding are superior quality. The owner has been scrupulous in her attention to detail providing cake, wine and milk on arrival. ItRead more is a dog friendly cottage. Treats, towels and blankets are provided. The cottage was a perfect comfortable home from home retreat. 5 minute walk to wonderful views out across the sea to the Isle of white. We had a lovely time at Daisy cottage. Its a great location for the beach and also for the New Forest. Great for our dog too with a garden. Its comfortable and has everything you need. Use the National Parks app for some beautiful walks in the New Forest. The Pebble beach restaurant is well worth a visit and Just Eat do deliverys!

This was the best holiday cottage that we have ever stayed in - and we have stayed in a lot of them over the years. It was comfortable, well provided for, and wonderfully hidden away. The freshly made cake, bottle of wine, dog biscuits and pint of milk were a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. Daisy cottage is simply the perfect home from home. Its in a delightful setting with a long enclosed garden and within easy access to the local beach. Lovely furnishings make the cottage cosy and comfortable and there is ample equipment for home cooking. A lovely welcome pack was also provided.

Arrived to find very clean and cosy accommodation, nicely furnished and well decorated, owner had kindly left a bottle of wine, cake and biscuits which was a nice welcome, thank you. Property is set back with an attractive good size garden which my dog enjoyed! Walking distance from a great restaurant (dog friendly) on the seafront, great walks, peRead moreaceful atmosphere to get away from it all for a few days and a relatively short drive to get to places to visit. We stayed for 1 week in the cottage and it was really perfect. We had everything we needed. The cottage is well maintained, clean and equipped. It is also more spacious than it looked on some of the photos so we never felt cramped. Its location is great with easy access to the New Forest and plenty of activities. Beautiful well equipped cottage near to the sea. However please be aware the wi fi is very slow. Lovely long garden for children to play in whilst you relax. The dog next door can be quite vocal at night during hot weather when windows open but otherwise a lovely holiday cottage. We had a fantastic holiday. Vanessa

The cottage was pristine and looked as if it had just been decorated. It was excellently equipped, and the bed was comfortable. A little bit of a walk to a beach along streets, which could have been tricky if carrying beach gear, but it was possible to drive and park near the cliff top.

This is a lovely cottage very clean and in a great location. Barton on Sea is a very friendly place and very dog friendly. The owner was very helpful and a welcome bottle of wine and cake with some dog treats. The only problem we had as we are pensioners the distance from the car to the cottage and only having loose chippings on the path meant we cRead moreould not wheel our suitcase in but had to carry it. Beautiful cottage close to the sea, however the neighbours dog barked all the time which then set off mine. Also the kids next door played football in their garden a lot with no regard for how high or where they kicked the ball which resulted in it coming into the garden on several occassions, dangerous when you have two tiny dogs & a toddler runniRead moreng around. When booked we never realised you couldn't leave the dogs alone as it doesn't say on the listing. This limited what we could do due to heat Hide

This is a very nice holiday cottage. It is very comfortable and well decorated. Everything you need for a holiday is there. The beds are comfortable which is not always the case with holiday cottages. There is also a nice garden which is a must if you have a dog. the cottage was very comfortable and well decorated the bed was one of the best we have found in a holiday home it was a very relaxing place to stay
