A super cosy cottage and well equipped. Beautiful rural location, and outdoor spaces. The owners kindly provided a cooling fan when requested. A lovely holiday had by all. Plenty of places to visit and a train ride into London. Would thoroughly recommend this idyllic thatched getaway. Quiet and relaxing. Tip: driveway is on a busy road with a bend.Read more Consider the alternative parking venue that is suggested. Also note: there is no washing machine and low headroom at times. Would visit again. Quaint. Quirky cottage with great field for dogs to run in. Very private, so much so Driveway well hidden and then tricky to reverse into. Had a few challenges with the plumbing and standing up straight in bedroom is only partially feasible for tall adult.

Great chocolate box cottage in a quiet location so very restful to recharge batteries. Have to be careful as boundaries are not secure to let dogs off. Slept really well in HUGE bed 10/10. Shame Cornfields Restaurant wasn't open but we ate at River Mill which was excellent and where Grayson our Great Dane got spoiled with fresh salmon from the chefRead more. Local Chinese at Great Barford very good too. A great week with some stunning countryside and little villages. Hide

We loved the cottage and it worked well for a family of 4. It was lovely and warm and we enjoyed the hot tub a lot. We'd go again but without our dog unless the garden was made secure.
