Perched in the middle of the village the reverse level property provides stunning views of the river and is only a short walk from the beach.

The unspoilt village of Poluran with its village shop, traditional cafe and local pub nestles on the beautiful south coast of Cornwall alongside the river Fowey. From the quaint quay side take a relaxing trip on the passenger ferry to Fowey where you will find a selection of shops, restaurants and bars. If you are able to pull yourself away from the village there is so much to see and do in the area or go for a walk on the beautiful coastal path to Lantic Bay then onto Polperro or even Bodinnick where you can catch the ferry back to Fowey and then Polruan. There is always something going on throughout the year from the Fowey regatta to Polruan carnival.

Enter this stylish property through the back door, into the sun room, with storage for boots and coats. It is also the ideal spot for a morning coffee. Through to the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a meal, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. To the side of the kitchen there is a useful utility room with washing machine, freezer and additional cupboard storage space. Also, on this level is the cosy first of two lounge/diner and where you can relax after a busy day sightseeing and watch a movie on the TV. In the dining area is a table and seating for four. On this floor are the three bedrooms, two doubles and one single with additional pull out single bed .The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find a 2nd large open/plan lounge/diner with views over the river. In the dining area is a table with seating for four and a wood burner effect electric fire.

Outside the property there is a sloping grassed area to the front with river views. To the rear is a sheltered patio with outside seating, which provides the perfect setting for al fresco dining. Outside of the property there is handy WC. There is no parking at the property, however, it is possible to drop off your luggage either at the front or the back of the property. Parking is available at the nearby car park, where a weekly ticket can be purchased.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • Polruan is a quaint little village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Polruan are accessed via steps some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars, therefore many properties in Polruan do not have private parking. However, there is a large pay and display carpark at the top of the village.

Good location reasonably priced cottage with some thought into the furnishings and needs of the guests only access for off loading and area is hilly but car park is only 25 for the week and a short distance away nice area of Cornwall to visit

Lovely, quirky and comfortable house. Every thing to allow a relaxed holiday. The hill up from coast got easier as the days went on.

We had an amazing time at Gulls View celebrating Grandmas 80th birthday. The mezzanine upstairs was perfect for trimming up for a surprise afternoon tea. The cottage wanted for nothing, beds comfy and kitchen superbly kitted out - first aid box was the best we had ever seen. The outside patio area was a sun trap for morning coffee. A very comfortable and attractively decorated property. Its location very near the car park was great and avoided the trek up hill to get the car for days out that we have experienced with properties lower down the hill.

Great location, very clean and comfortable property. The view from the sitting room was good, the view from the top floor lounge area was fabulous.
