The cottage is beautiful and in a gorgeous location with views over the harbour. There are quite a few steps up to the cottage and also a very steep hill back to the car park so if you struggle with walking then you would find this difficult. We loved it and would definitely return.

The view was the best bit about the cottage - the sunset was amazing! The cottage is really close to the pub, although Saturday night is not recommended, even with a booking, and close to the ferry across to Fowey, where you can get the ferry to Mevagissey - like others, we saw dolphins! Accessibility is definitely not for the fainted hearted - we Read morecertainly felt fitter at the end of our week! It's a lovely and nice equipped cottage with a great view over the harbour and for sunsets. With hiking, swimming and kayaking we had great activities. We also enjoyed the various beaches and a ferry trip to Mevagissey and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is a little but well equipped food store in the village which offered by far enough for us fRead moreor two weeks. We came by public transport which was possible without any problems. Overall we had a great and very relaxing time. Thanks a lot! Hide

A wonderful position, the views of Fowey and the river are spectacular. Perfectly situated near the Quay for the ferry to Fowey and the path to Hall Walk towards Bodinnick. Coastal walks to Polperro and across the river to Polkerris. The stunning beach at Lantic Bay is worth the walk. Newly decorated cottage with great view across to Fowey. As warned in the advert there are steep steps to access and parking is up a steep hill at the top of town. There are limited eating options in Polruan but many across in Fowey. Would best suit fit people.
