1st time in Cornwall, and the cottage was spacious but requires some updating, Gas hob good but electric oven stopped working after 2 days and an ext cable was required to be plugged into main electric socket. Maggie the dog enjoyed the land available in the property, but be aware that hasn't been a working farm for a couple of yrs. The local shop Read morewas not open as we found a sign stating not open until 2022. If you want main shops it's a 15 min drive. And the river ferry is 10 return to Fowey. Hide

Lovely cottage, well equipped and very comfortable in beautiful countryside setting. Walk or drive down the hill and you can get the ferry across to Fowey. Alternatively drive a few miles to the costal village of Looe or just enjoy the peace and tranquility of the beautiful countryside. Highly recommend.

Comfortable property with adequate room for four. Essential equipment available to make your stay comfortable. Close proximity to the Fowey ferry opens up the south coast of Cornwall making it a great base for visiting the local Cornish attractions. The Granary is certainly well situated for an enjoyable holiday in a lovely part of the UK

The Granary is a lovely barn conversion, set in a quiet hamlet, but only minutes from the ferry to Fowey. Our hosts Dave and Rachel couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed sitting out on the decking in the sunshine, after spending our days walking the coastal and river paths, and swimming in the beautiful bays just a shoRead morert drive away. The property is located close to the ferry across to Fowey. The setting is very peaceful, with a field to the rear of the property leading to footpaths great for walking our dog. We would definitely stay here again, ideal for exploring the area via the ferry which is much quicker than driving around the estuary.
